INTERIOR CONCEPT – BEAUTY STUDIO IN PODGORICA

The interior of this beauty studio was designed as a harmonious blend of functionality, femininity, and calmness, with strict adherence to feng shui principles, as requested by the client. The space is extremely compact, which presented an additional challenge—it was essential to carefully plan the layout and design of each element in order to achieve asense of lightness and openness, without compromising practicality.

By selecting natural, visually light materials, the use of heavy stone textures and glossy surfaces was intentionally avoided. The space is dominated by warm wood tones, textured fabrics, and a neutral palette, which creates a welcoming and soothing environment.

A particular challenge was presented by the pre-existing solarium, positioned by the window, which had to remain in the space. The solution came in the form of a light, transparent plexiglass partition—a feature that does not visually divide the space but still provides the necessary privacy for women while changing. This intervention further contributes to a sense of spatial flow and allows natural light to penetrate deep into the studio.

In the work area, custom-made furniture with soft, rounded contours takes center stage—rounded forms are characteristic of feng shui design, symbolizing energy flow. The manicure table, along with additional elements such as the bench and armchair, are shaped with a focus on simplicity and sophistication. The use of an olive-green armchair, light-toned bench, and wooden textures creates a balance between the wood and earth elements, resulting in a sense of stability and grounding. Each furniture piece was carefully selected—featuring rounded edges, natural upholstery, and tactile surfaces that invite relaxation. Every element is functional yet visually serene.

The wall-mounted shelves are composed in rhythmic segments—both functional and decorative, preventing visual clutter. Their vertical and horizontal rhythm emphasizes the sense of order and verticality in the space.
